Every year, The Lungu Family Internship Fund will award three paid internships each totaling K1000.(One Thousand Zambian Kwacha)
Applications will be accepted from August 15-30 each year.
Eligibility
– Be a Grade 11 learner residing in Mikomfwa township
– Write a one page-essay demonstrating your goals for post-secondary school life and why you should receive this fund. The Essay should not exceed 400 words.
Job Description
Engage patrons and provide customer service. Assist with library digitization.
Recipients will be announced in early November and will intern at Luanshya City Council and Luanshya Information and Learning Center for the Month of December.

Teen Volunteers
Teens (grades 9-12) participating in the LINC Teen Volunteer Program will learn valuable working skills. Volunteer jobs help to prepare teens to become job ready while working in the library, learning customer service skills, and learning how to interact with a variety of people. Teens will participate in a CV building program and an interview skills workshop. Please enquire with the librarian for more information.
