The Luanshya Information and Learning Center (LINC) is a free and supportive environment housed at Luanshya library that enables everyone, including girls and women, in the community to achieve optimal use of information and services to advance their education and economic outcomes as well as acquire the needed knowledge to reduce ignorance and superstition that contributes to risk factors affecting youth.

Teen Volunteers
Teens (grades 9-12) participating in the LINC Teen Volunteer Program will learn valuable working skills. Volunteer jobs help to prepare teens to become job ready while working in the library, learning customer service skills, and learning how to interact with a variety of people. Teens will participate in a CV building program and an interview skills workshop. Please enquire with the librarian for more information.
Every year, The Lungu Family Internship Fund will award two paid internships each totaling K1000.(One Thousand Zambian Kwacha)
Applications will be accepted from August 15-30 each year.
Recipients will be announced in early November and will intern at Luanshya City Council and Luanshya Information and Learning Center for the Month of December

Engages with patrons and provides customer service. Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes. Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
Founded in 2003 in aid of the Luanshya Library in Zambia, to create opportunities for learning, support literacy and education, and help shape new ideas and perspectives.
